I came to America about 1 month. I want to say what I think in this month. Of course, I will talk about America Government.
When I am in China, I always hear that Chinese Gort is not honest to their people, bacause what they say is not ture, but America's doesn't. Where can people know more ture things is in foreign wabsite. What Chinese government always tell us is good thing about themselves. What they did bad or wrong, they never say out. In the Chinese textbook, we can only learn the good China. We can't learn the bad side. That's ture, But it isn't so absolutly. When I came to America, after I learn Amer Gort, I find the content in the textbook is more dialectical. It can confort the problems. I like this way to study a government. It is more corrcet to know our country better.
You are right, the American government does tell the good and bad. This right is something that I have valued about America, and wish that China and other countries like it would adopt. Those who do not have all the information cannot challenge those who do.
回复删除I agree with you, I like how the American Government tells both the good and bad. But I would have to say, although the text books do mention the bad and the good, the books put more info out on the good things the government does, and doesn't talk as much about the bad. I appreciate how American government books, and also the news and everything else that talks about whats going on in the government, tells the good and the bad, instead of hiding the bad, because then we can judge for ourselves what we decide personally to think.
